About Me - Sarah Batchelor FRSA
Sarah Batchelor FRSA- Artist
A mixed media artist with a love of creating and seeing possibilities in unexpected places.
My work moves between painting and the transformation of everyday objects. I turn shells discarded by restaurants into beautiful, useful pieces, and give charity-shop glass a new life as art. Colour, texture and a little curiosity connect everything I make.
For me, creating is about looking again at something overlooked and imagining what it could become. Whether I’m working on a painting, a shell or a piece of glass, I want to make something that brings character and pleasure to everyday life.
My work is hung in UK and Europe, I have been published in various magazines including World of Interiors and I have also exhibited at Chichester Ox Market Contemporary Gallery,
